#44 – Foo Fighters – Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace
Foo Fighter’s 2007 release of Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace isn’t anything groundbreaking, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good. In fact, it was just another solid rock ‘n roll album from Dave Grohl and company. Besides, why change something that isn’t broken? “The Pretender” and “Erase the Place” can already be put into the category of Foo classics, while the acoustic tribute to the Beaconsfield mine collapse of April, 2006, “Ballad of The Beaconsfield Minors,” contrasts nicely with most of the album’s rock ballads. Plus, the album has been accompanied by some pretty awesome music videos.
