Gogol Bordello’s Super Taranta! is just another in the line of rambunctious and noisy albums from the band discography that is reminiscent of The Pogues…if they had a Eastern European sound. The gypsy rock album mixes a fun and energtic sound with catchy lyrics. Though it’s not quite the same as attending one of their live shows. You get what you expect to, and that’s not at all a bad thing when you’re talking about a band with the sound of Gogol Bordello. Album highlights include “Supertheory Of Supereverything”, “Dub The Frequencies Of Love”, and “Ultimate”.
