With the worldwide tour still going strong and the new EP, Prospekt’s March, due out in less than a week, Coldplay recently spent some time with Garageband to offer fans the best of both world – a remix and a music video – in one nice little package
Ok so maybe we’re wrong about the Chris Martin in front of his Mac Book part, but at least someone associated with the band has taken the closeup-heavy footage from the “Lost” music video and combined it with Jay-Z’s “uh ohs” and “name drops,” aka his remix of the song, to create a brand new music video for “Lost+”. Well, if you want to get technical, minus a super imposed t.v. screen and some Jay-Z dancing behind a green screen – though when you think about it, that could have come from anywhere – the video isn’t really anything more than an old music video with a semi-new remix replacing the original version of “Lost”.
If you’re a Coldplay fan or get kicks out of seeing Jay-Z on a 6″ t.v. screen, this is for you. If you’re like the rest of us, just check out so that you have something to talk with friends about while your waiting for the band to take on stage during any one of the upcoming tour dates.
Speaking of that tour, now’s probably a good time to note that CoS’ favorite Eugene Francis Jnr. has been tapped to open several of Coldplay’s upcoming European dates.
