Dan Deacon will soon Bromst the country – I wonder if that’s a verb? broom + swept = bromst? – and it will be in more way than one. In support of his new studio album, which officially hits shelves on March 24th via Carpark Records, the Baltimore based DJ has announced plans for a rather extensive North American trek. And the best part? He’ll be bringing his recently debuted 15-piece backing ensemble along for the ride!

Following a one-off in New York on January 31st and a quick trip to New Zeleand and Australia, Deacon will return to the states for what will be a two-month trek that will take the Bromst creator, his backing band, and supporting outfits, Future Islands and Teeth Mountain, just about everywhere. Tickets for many of the upcoming dates will go on sale beginning Friday, January 30th via Ticketmaster.com.

Speaking of Bromst, you can check out another track from the album below…
