With the EP fun now all but over, The Raveonettes currently find themselves left with nothing to do. So what does one do when in this predicament? We’ll lef Sune Rose Wagner take it away:

Had a great creative talk with Sharin [Foo] today and we’re so ready to make the best album to date! It’ll be released in September and we wanna do a proper studio album with a genius producer. There’s only so much you can do in your living room and let’s face it, whenever you pull out one of your favorite albums, it’ll stand the test of time because of a timeless sound, excellent production and songwriting. Now’s the right time for us to step it up…

No word on who the genius producer will be, nor the name of the forthcoming album. Though, if the recently released EPs offer anything, the followup to 2007’s Lust Lust Lust should definitely be worth a listen.

Before The Raveonettes hit the studio, the duo will hit the road with a four piece band for an “intense” five-date tour. A few tickets are still available via Ticketmaster.com.
