By now, most of us know The Ting Tings, or at least heard one of their head-bobbing selections at some point in time. In fact, regardless of what you though of the British duo’s debut album, We Started Nothing, and the slew of Apple-friendly singles that followed, it’s hard not to argue that Katie White and Jules De Martino were perhaps one of the most successful new acts of 2008.
Looking to continue this success into the New Year, The Ting Tings have unveiled a 22-date tour that will bring the duo back to the United States beginning in mid-March. Following a few stops on the Australian music festival circuit and some time in both Japan and the United Kingdom, White and De Martino will head west, kicking things off on March 16th at Webster Hall in New York City. Stops at nearly every other major U.S. market follow, except Los Angeles, but that’s likely because of a TBA appearance at you know what.
