Well, then you’ll be happy to know that two of the Animal Collective‘s concerts, which took place at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom and Grand Ballroom respectively, are available for download or stream thanks to a one nyctaper. Having not been to either show, I can’t say how amazing or not amazing they were, but judging from what I’ve heard, the performances weren’t too shabby. Both shows are available for download at nyctaper and a stream is up over at Stereogum. The sets included their recently debuted new song, “Blue Sky” and a refurbished classic, “Winters Love”.
Also, in the strange case that you have yet to see the awesome underwater acid trip that is the video for “My Girls” (haven’t you been keeping up with all things Animal Collective?), here is a youtube video. A higher quality version can be found here.
