Because a.) everyone and their mother will be posting  the same clips over and over again and b.) we don’t really feel like dealing with NBC’s uber frustrating copyright policy, we decided to go a different route in covering Fleet Foxes‘ performance on Saturday Night Live yesterday. The more funny one.

A quick search on YouTube for “Fleet Foxes SNL” brings up a clip entitled, “Jorm Dances To Fleet Foxes.” According to the video’s publisher, the 22-second clip featuring a shirtless gentlemen getting down to the band’s performance of “Blue Ridge Mountains” is of “stolen footage from SNL…I caught this totally private moment of Jorma with Fleet Foxes!” As we learned from Ear Candy‘s Travis Hay, this Jorma is in fact Jorma Taccone from The Lonely Island, you know that SNL production group turned musical outfit.

Needless to say, the 22 seconds make for one hell of a moment. Between the inane dance moves, the cut to Bill Hader shaking his head, and the impromptu saxophone accompaniment that ends the clip, this is definitely one of the more funny things you’ll see today. Plus, you got to give major props to the Fleet Foxes for carrying on with their performance, despite all the shenanigans unfolding in front of them.
