Aside from Radiohead’s rumored marching band and M.I.A’s pregnant performance, easily the most anticipated moment of tomorrow’s Grammy awards will be the reunion of Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker, the first time in nearly five years that the members of Blink-182 will appear onstage together. While as of now, the trio will only use their talents to present an award during Sunday’s festivities, there are growing rumors that the band may soon return in full-force, led by the release of a new studio album.

According to a posting by Angel & Airwaves’ guitarist David Kennedy on the band’s website, via MTV.com, DeLonge will use this upcoming year to work on two new albums: one being the followup to AVA’s I-Empire and the other being, wait for it…a brand new Blink-182 record.

While nothing is officially confirmed, the prospects of a Blink album doesn’t come as much of a surprise, especially if you consider the band’s “we’re all friends” comments of recent months following Barker’s escape from a plane crash last September.
