Chalk up another reason to love the Austin based Fun Fun Fun Fest. Not only did last year’s edition leave attendees with a smile, but apparently the acts as well. Take Dead Milkmen for example. The Philadelphia based punk outfit has so much “fun” during its recent reunion performance at Fun Fun Fun Fest that its members have “decided to keep at it.”

According to a posting on the band’s website, Dead Milkmen will soon head back on the road “to see what might develop as far as new material.” So in other words, if all goes as planned, Joe Genaro and Co. could release their first new studio album, which would be their first new release since 1985’s Stoney’s Extra Stout (Pig).

Currently, only one date is on the itinerary – a show in Brooklyn on April 17th – but more are expected to be added in the coming months. In the weeks proceeded and following the date, Genaro will spend some time on his own solo tour.
