Ahead of the release of their much anticipated sophomore studio album, tentatively titled Born on Flag Day and scheduled to hit record stores later this year, the gentlemen of Deer Tick will look to take the latest single (see below) from last year’s debut album quite literally in the coming months. In other words, they’ll be hitting the road for a “long time”.
Beginning in a little less than a week, February 13th to be exact, Deer Tick will head on the road for what is currently a two-month North American tour, highlighted by an extensive stint at this year’s South by Southwest. The trek, which will also feature sets in support of both Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and Phosphorescent, will primarily be in support of the band’s aforementioned debut effort, War Effort, but expect a few new tastes to be sprinkled in as well.
