Ok, it’s official. You may think Jimmy Fallon is annoying, unfunny, even undeserving of his upcoming role as host of Late Night, but you got to give the man props. He has some damn good taste in music. In fact, so much so, that’s he starting to give Conan O’Brien a run for his money – and he hasn’t even been on the job one day.
According to several media outlets, including the Chicago Tribune, The Roots won’t be the only high-profile act dishing out the music when Fallon officially takes over as host on March 2nd. Hot off his two-night performance at Madison Square Garden, Van Morrison will head up to Rockefeller Center to serve as Fallon’s first musical guest.
But the fun doesn’t end there; Jon Bon Jovi, Santigold, and Ludacris are among the other names who will share their musical talents over the course of week #1. Needless to say, Jimmy Fallon shouldn’t have too much trouble tapping into the music fan niche.
