Other than your Coachellas and Bonnaroos of the world, no 2009 lineup has been more anticipated than that of Rock on the Range. After thrilling rock heads in 2007 with a debut lineup featuring the likes of Velvet Revolver, Evanescence, and Papa Roach, only to return one year later with an equally stellar bill, highlighted by Disturbed, Kid Rock, Seether, and the reunion of Stone Temple Pilots, Rock on the Range will look to make its third edition a charm when it hits Columbus, Ohio between May 16th and May 17th.
And based of the festival’s recently unveiled lineup, it certainly appears Rock on the Range will do just that. Mötley Crüe, Alice in Chains, Korn, and Slipknot will head this year’s bill, while Avenged Sevenfold, The Used, Atreyu, Chevelle, and Buckcherry make up others act of note. All in all, the 2009 lineup looks something like this:
Adelitas Way, Alice in Chains, All That Remains, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Billy Talent, Black Stone Cherry, Blue October, Buckcherry, Burn Halo, Cavo, Charm City Devils, Chevelle, Crooked X, Drive A, Early Pearl, Flyleaf, Framing Hanley, Halestorm, Hoobastank, Hurt, Korn, The Leo Project, Mötley Crüe, Pop Evil, Rev Theory, Saliva, Saving Abel, Shinedown, Sick Puppies, Slipknot, Static X, State of Shock, Trapt, The Used, X Factor 1
