It’s official. Whoever is scheduling the acts for Vanderbilt University’s Rite of Spring Festival deserves a job with Goldenvoice, Superfly, or any other production company upon graduation. If last year’s bill of Feist, Spoon, Lil John, Grace Potter, and The Avett Brothers didn’t convince you, just take a look at their lastest work.

The Flaming Lips, Okkervil River, N.E.R.D., Santigold, Q-Tip, and Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears will lead this year’s Rite of Spring, scheduled to take place from April 17-18. Remember, this is a university concert we’re talking about! Yet they are offering a lineup that gives some of the smaller professional festivals a run for their money? Tell me who that works again?

General admission tickets for this year’s festival will go on sale Monday, March 2nd via Ticketmaster.com. As always, Rite of Spring will be held on the Alumni Lawn of Vanderbilt University.
