For the better part of well, forever, Australia’s crazy fun dance group The Presets have been touring in support of Apocalypso. But as we learned in December, all good things eventually come to and end, and come next month, the duo will take to America for what will be their last slew of tour dates ever – or at least, until they’re ready to unveil a new album.
In celebration of The Presets return to U.S., the duo decided to enlist French director Eva Husson to help them put together an enthralling music video for the band’s final single from 2008’s Apocalypso. Set against the Los Angeles backdrop, “If I Know You” sends one clear message to today’s youth: life is much better if you’re dancing. Shirtless teenage boys accompany young girls in cargo shorts as they walk in step to the beat and prance about town. As the sun sets, the video undergoes bouts of darkness which lead up to an interpretative bonfire dance on the outskirts of town.
The craziness that this video suggests suits The Presets well and makes their tour seem all the more inviting! Seriously, you don’t want to miss your chance to catch these guys on tour this year with The Golden Filter; a disco meets death metal sensation famous for their remixes of PB&J, Cut Copy and Hercules & Love Affair.
