Though The String Cheese Incident will be reuniting at this summer’s Rothbury Festival, that hasn’t slowed down EOTO, the baby side project of String Cheese members Jason Hann and Michael Travis. If anything, their creative minds are on fire, and what better reason for hitting the road.
The northeast tour kicked off a few days ago, but there are still several dates to catch ’em. Right now, the two are working there ways amongst the south, having just finished some shows in Florida. From there, the duo will travel through Alabama, and continue to head north. They will be hitting hot spots Hour Haus in Baltimore, River Street Jazz Cafe in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Sullivan Hall in Manhattan, along with Cornell’s Theta Delta Chi fraternity and a free show at Canton, NY’s Java Barn.
For those of you interested, Hann and Travis play entirely improvised breakbeats, glitch-hop, and house music, mixing live instrumentation with digital mixing. It’s quite a scene, so if you’re down, then they’re down, and we’re all down. Get it?
