The yet-to-be-announced Camp Bisco 8 isn’t the only thing on the mind of The Disco Biscuits these days. In fact, while all us festival junkies wait impatiently for details of the Biscuits’ three day extravaganza in mid-July, at least for the moment, the Philadelphia based rockers have their attention turned else where to another weekend built around…you guessed it, them!
Queue Bisco Inferno, a mini one-day festival of sorts scheduled to take place on May 30th at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. Featuring two sets by the The Biscuits, along with performances by DJ Z-Trip, Lotus, The New Deal, RJD2, and Orchard Lounge, the day looks to offer quite an eclectic bill of music, a trend of Biscuits related events in recent years. As an added bonus, the band will play at Denver’s Ogden Theatre on the even of Bisco Inferno, providing an intimate opportunity to get you Biscuits fix before the sheer mayhem of the following day ensues.
Tickets to the Ogden Theatre show are only available as part of a limited quantity Bisco Inferno two-day pass currently available from BiscoTix. General on-sale for the Red Rocks show beginning on Saturday, March 28th via Ticketmaster.com.
Of course, this is just two three performances in what is a very busy coming months for The Disco Biscuits; in addition to a spring U.S. tour, the band is currently scheduled to perform at a number of summer festivals, including the aforementioned Camp Bisco 8.
