That’s right! Those British ear destroyers are bringing their brand of overdriven shoegaze back to the US for a few dates, and if you’re so inclined to up the probability of dying alone and deaf in a hospital bed, all for the sake of an unparalleled concert going experience…hey, at least it’ll be worth it!
If you’ll recall, Kevin Shields took his bandmates, amp stacks, and noise to the road for a handful of dates last year in what most would consider their reunion tour. With a spot at this year’s Coachella, My Bloody Valentine will be playing a few shows surrounding their date at the festival, hitting spots they may have skipped over last time around, before shipping off to Europe in May. So maybe those new albums are in the works . . .
