So, I guess U2 is pretty popular, eh? After all, Bono and his Irish bandmates sold out virtually everyone of their currently announced upcoming U.S. tour dates virtually immediately. And those dates just aren’t any ordinary dates, they’re at the biggest venues this fine country has to offer. How does one celebrate such a success? By announcing more dates of course.

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s “instant sell-outs,” U2 has added 10 dates to its upcoming North American tour, including second nights in Chicago, Toronto, Boston, and New York. Also feel the love on this round are Washington, DC, Charlottesville, VA, Atlanta, Tampa, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. Tickets for these dates go on sale within the next week, but if you are one of fancy U2.Com subscribers, you can pick up pre-sale tickets beginning this very second.

Additional U.S. dates are still forthcoming, as is another new CD. Seriously, what else could one hope for? Maybe Bono and Edge rattling Malibu pace? You got it…
