In news that shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, Ani DiFranco will continue to tour tirelessly behind her 2008 record Red Letter Year. On top of the previously announced northeast and midwest trek set for this spring, the Buffalo native recently added a few dates for this summer, all of which are built around upcoming appearances at Bonnaroo, Rothbury, and the second annual Mile High Music Festival.

Of course, the biggest of these dates will probably be when DiFranco appears alongside Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews, Eddie Vedder, John Mellencamp, and Joan Baez for a performance at Madison Square Garden in celebration of Pete Seeger’s 90th birthday party. And if you’re feeling either generous or have some money to burn, the $1,254.50 priced Clearwater Legacy Packages for the event are still available via Ticketmaster.com.

Following the last of these dates, DiFranco will reportedly head back to the studio to begin work on a brand new studio album.
