Hockey is the name of a sport. Hockey is also the name of Portland, Oregon based quartet. The former has just entered the playoffs stage, and is already driving yours truly to a state of panic (see: Washington Capitals). The latter is currently catching the attention of quite a few folks, thanks to a recent stint at South by Southwest, an upcoming U.K. tour with the Friendly Fires, and scheduled appearances at both Sasquatch!, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza. The Stanley Cup is what is the focus of the Hockey, the sport, while Mind Chaos is for Hockey, the band.
On August 25th, the Portland rockers will re-release their debut LP, remixed and remastered, and with a few additional songs via their new home, Capital Records. All in all, Mind Chaos will now consist of 11 tracks, headed by single #1, Too Fake”, which you can check out below.
