It just so turns out that Metric is more about Fantasies. The Canadian crew also likes roads trips for example, the type where it can spread it Fantasies all across this fine globe. Yes ladies and gentlemen, one of indie music’s quintessential bands will be hitting the road beginning this month for world tour to showcase its new record and remind everyone why this quartet matters in the world of music.

The Emily Haines led band will kick things off next week with a crisscross through Canada before heading over to Europe in May. Come June, the U.S. will finally get its Fantasies, when Metric takes to the stages for what is currently a three-week trip. The tour will cap off with a performance at this years Edgefest back in Toronto, which considering the opening in the band’s upcoming itinerary, should be the first of a few festival appearances. Wouldn’t that be a nice little fantasy come true?

Fantasies hits record shelves everywhere on April 14th via Arts and Crafts Records.
