Slayer may be busy with its upcoming album right now and headlining duties at Mayhem Festival this summer, but come the fall, the legendary metal outfit will reportedly set its sights on a mind-blowing co-headlining tour with none other than Megadeath. Well, that is if you believe MetalUnderground.com:
Two of thrash metal biggest names will be joining forces for a tour together later this year. The event is expected to be announced officially next month along with details regarding support etc. Tour dates will be revealed shortly.
Of course, the tour does make sense, as both bands should have new albums to support by this summer. Slayer is currently at work on its tenth full-length effort with Rick Rubin and Greg Fidelman, while Medadeth and Andy Sneap have been hammering away at album #12 since last fall.
