So, Wilco, that stellar band from Chicago that you always hear about, really want to keep the ball rolling with news. In February, the band revealed that the new album was near completion, and unveiled a list of tour dates. But, Jeff and the boys are not stopping there. With the release of the Wilco rockdoc Ashes of American Flags set for April 18th, Wilco sent out an email yesterday which announced the still yet-to-be-named new album’s completion and even more new dates for their tour:
We’re just back from mastering the record… so it’s done & in the can and everyone’s ready to hit the road all spring, summer and beyond. The dates and presales are going up fast and furious.
So there you have it. Another Wilco album is complete and more dates are being thrown up left and right. Recently announced are shows Cincinnati, Oklahoma City, El Paso, Tucson, Pomona and two shows in LA. Exciting stuff. The band urges fans to keep a look out for more to come, and rumors are already a plenty as to which venues the band will visit.
