Well, kind of.
In support of their recently released new LP, It’s Blitz!, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have added seven more “comfy dates” to its upcoming world tour, bringing the total of non-festival dates to 18. Could their festival whore status be in jeopardy?
Probably not. After all, Karen O. and company still do have 14 upcoming festival appearances, meaning 43.75% of their upcoming itinerary will be occupied by 100,000 person extravaganza. Still, if you’re an American and looking for an opportunity to see the band in a more intimate atmosphere, head to Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis, or the four other cities lucky enough to get a club show.
