Glastonbury ’09 finally reveals itself

The Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts as its properly known has earned such a reputation that it sells out months before organizers reveal the lineup, even during times when the economy sucks ass and festivals are being canceled as fast as Michael Jackson’s upcoming reunion shows. The reason for this, you ask? Well, when you have the quantity and quality of artists Glastonbury seems to round together year in and year out, it ain’t all that hard to find something, or many things to like.

This is again the case for Glastonbury’s ’09 bill, which was officially revealed today, just a month before the event returns to the Worthy Farm in Pilton, England for another five days of mind-numbing music action (June 24-28).
