Following in the footsteps of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Widespread Panic, Gov’t Mule has expanded its summer itinerary beyond a slew of festival appearances. Throughout the month of July and August, the country jammers will hit a number of U.S. pavilions and amphitheatres between appearances at Mountain Jam, Bonnaroo, and Rothbury, both in support of last year’s two-disc DVD, The Tale of Two Cities, and to introduce fans to material off their yet-to-be-titled upcoming studio effort, which is due for release this fall.

And, like the other smart, anti-monopolistic bands out there, Gov’t Mule will offer tickets not via evil mega co. Ticketmaster, but rather through its official website.
