Well, The Strokes are in the headlines again, and no, it’s not because they have come out of hiding with their much-anticipated new LP. But it is related.

You see, Little Joy, the Los Angeles based outfit featuring Rodrigo Amarante, Binki Shapiro, and Fabrizio Moretti, wants to tour this summer in support of their self-titled debut. But with Moretti bogged down in the studio with The Strokes, his bandmates have been forced to seek out a replacement. Only Son’s Jack Dishel was the name they came up with, and will be joining the band when it embarks on a month-long North American swing beginning in June.
