On July 9th, Chicago’s own Mannequin Men will submit its entry for the “Best Play on Words” category of 2009 with the release of Lose Your Illusion, Too – the album’s cover also could be up for some awards as well, but we’re trying to keep things somewhat appropriate. Consisting of 14 tracks, the followup to 2007’s Fresh Rot is billed as as mix of razor sharp punk and British Invasion pop, or at the band notes, “It’s all killer- no filler rock n’ roll the way only people who truly love it can make.”
In support of the release, Mannequin Men will hit the road in the coming weeks, so, get ready to sweat and be a little too close to your neighbor. All dates below:
