On January 3, 2010, the MSC Poesia, aka a super beautiful cruise ship, will embark on a six day musical voyage, aka Jam Cruise 8. Yes folks, this is a music festival on a ship…
…and festival which features quite the jam-friendly lineup. STS9, Zappa Plays Zappa, Galactic, and The Word, an all-star group featuring John Medeski, North Mississippi Allstars, and Robert Randolph head Jam Cruise 8. Other acts of note include Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Dark Star Orchestra, JJ Grey & Mofro, Railroad Earth, Steve Kimock’s Crazy Engine, Lotus, Toubab Krewe, and The Motet playing the music of the Talking Heads.
