Furthering its mission to bridge the worlds of music, art and charity, the Montreal-based nonprofit Yellowbird Project will soon be releasing a coloring and activity book, suitable for kids of all ages, with all royalties from sales going to a number of band-picked charity groups.

Rilo Kiley, The Shins, Devendra Banhart, Bloc Party, the National, Bon Iver and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah are just a few of the groups participating in the project. UK-based illustrator Andy J. Miller did the design work.

“This supercalifragilisticepialidocious book is intended to raise awareness of the Yellow Bird Project and its contributing artists,” YBP founders Matt Stotland and Casey Cohen said in a press release. “Andy J. Miller has created pictures symbolic of the many musicians who have contributed to the Yellow Bird Project over the years. We couldn’t decide on the colors, so we are leaving that up to you.”

Founded in 2006, Yellow Bird Project has previously enlisted a wide array of musicians to create their own, unique T-shirt designs, with all profits benefiting charities of the artists’ choice. In the past, YBP has donated to such organizations as Art For Change, Transportation Alternatives, Teenage Cancer Trust and the Elliot Smith Memorial Fund.
