On May 19th, Tori Amos will attempt to earn the hearts of you, and us (again) with the release of her financial crisis-inspired and girl power-approved new studio album, Abnormally Attracted to Sin. Aside from marking her first release with Universal Republic and being available in a deluxe version which includes a digital booklet, one bonus track and a DVD of corresponding episodic films for each track, which “bring to life the narrative arc of the album,” Amos’ tenth full-length effort also brings the added benefit of summer tour dates. Yes, Tori is hitting the road!

Beginning mid-July, Amos will embark on what is currently a two-month North American tour. Dates include stops on both coasts, highlighted by a two-date stint in Oakland. Fans who pre-order the album (via toriamos.com) will get first dibs on tickets before they go on sale to the general public.
