It may have taken a little while to heat up, but the Blink-182 reunion extravaganza is now in full-swing. The openers are warming up their chops for some MGMT + Lady Gaga stylings, the tour dates are set, and most importantly, the trio of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker has obtained a seal of approval from a man so important that his network would rather give him a sure-to-fail-show, rather than pension. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Blink stopped by Jay Leno last night for their first of two back-to-back performances on The Late Show.
The result? Well, if the band’s performance of “The Rock Show” is any indication of what is to come, expect a lot of by-the-book performances of Blink’s “greatest hits”. Fun? Sure, but where’s the element of surprise?
On a side note, how does Jay get that CD to sit on top of a mug?
