It turns out Beck will be using the new beck.com to not only cover other people’s songs, but to mash them up as well. “Planned Obsolensence,” is the latest feature to be unveiled, a weekly DJ set of sorts offering up “mixes of what we’re listening to, put together by myself or guest DJs.”
First up is “Autobahn Hologram,” a 38 minute fury of electricity that includes samples from Madlib, DJ Spooky and Comets on Fire. Oh yeah, and then there’s some guy named Michael Jackson mixed in as well…
