Here’s something anyone can get behind: Elvis Costello has added even more North American tour dates in support of his recently announced new album, Secret, Profane & Sugarcane. Following a few festival appearances in July and August as Elvis Costello & The Imposters, the legendary singer/songwriter will embark on a 15-date swing as Elvis Costello & The Sugercanes, aka as the group of musicians that backed him on his latest release and which consists of Jim Lauderdale on guitar, Jerry Douglas on dobro, Stuart Duncan on fiddle, Mike Compton on mandolin, Jeff Taylor on accordion and Dennis Crouch on double bass.
The newly announced dates include more in-store appearances, like the one he recently made in Hollywood, as well as a couple high-profile stops at the Malkin Bowl in Vancouver and Massey Hall in Toronto. Tickets for many dates are currently on sale via Ticketmaster.com.
