After creating almost a decades worth of killer music, the garage rock/queercore/dance rock threesome known as Gossip has finally signed with a major music label (Columbia Records) for its new record, Music For Men. Filled with fast-paced dance numbers, raucous guitar riffs and front-woman Beth Dittos signature howl, the rip-roaring tunes of the 12-track effort will undoubtedly knock the world unconscious this year, which is why Gossip is so eager for us to hear it!
Since their new album isnt set to hit stores until October 6th, Beth Ditto and Co. have decided to do some early promotion via AOLs Spinner; where you can now stream Music For Men in its entirety. Oh, and if youd rather have your own digital copy, youll only have to wait few more days after that – June 22nd in the U.K. and June 23rd in the U.S will be the days the band celebrates the digitial release of the effort. So, basically, by the time October 6th does roll around, everybody will already have a copy of Music For Men – but it’s not like we’re complaining or anything.
Another thing we can’t really complain about is the bodacious summer tour the band has scheduled! On July 3rd, Gossip with kick off a European leg before jump starting the U.S. to coincide with Music For Mens scheduled October physical release.
