Our Lady Peace rolls out a scorching summer tour

As we reported last month, Our Lady Peace returns next month with its seventh studio album, Burn Burn.  What better way to support it than a super-charged, expansive national tour, right? Well, beginning this Friday in Buffalo, NY, everyone’s favorite Canadian rockers that aren’t Arcade Fire or Neil Young are hitting the road again.

For most of Canada, the band will be making festival appearances, including this year’s Virgin Fest. That should be fruitful for those looking to hear some past hits (“Starseed” anyone?). As for us Americans, we’ll have to hit up the traditional venues — even the House of Blues. Yikes.

Burn Burn doesn’t surface until July 21st, but already the band’s hot on the circuit. First single “All You Did Was Save My Life” is currently making its rounds on the radio, and fans should catch the new video via the band’s MySpace, which features Shenae Grimes of 90210 fame (The CW one, folks). And wouldn’t you know it, Grimes is a Canuck, as well.

To think, all of this Canadian sensation could be coming to your town — “somewhere out there.”
