The Black Crowes ready a two for one deal

Not many artists can say they shelled out a new studio album in just five days. The Black Crowes can say they shelled out two. Back in February, the Atlanta outfit hit Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, New York for a five-night recording session. The end result, which will be seen on September 1st, are two brand new full-length efforts, one of which, entitled Before The Frost…, is being treated like a new studio album (and will cost you money), while the other, …Until The Freeze, is more of a present, or as the band described it, a thank you to fans (and will be given away for free). In total, the two albums will consist of 19 original tracks, along with a cover the Stephen Stills classic “So Many Times”. As for the albums’ sound? They will “serve to spotlight the band’s ability to make emotional connections through their music.”

You can listen to these sounds, and thank The Black Crowes’ present at any of their upcoming tour dates. And, as previously mentioned, you’ll have many dates to choose from.
