From September 23-25, the first annual OohLaLA Festival will bring the best of France, at least when it comes to music, to the streets of Los Angeles.
The latest creation of GoldenVoice, the company also behind Coachella and All Point West, the three-day festival will take at the Henry Fonda Theatre and will seek to the highlight the current French music scene with a weekend worth of performances by French artists.
Among those currently scheduled to take part include Sébastien Tellier, Gonzales, The Dø, and Cocoon. The French collective known as Nouvelle Vague will also appear, performing a a tribute to 1980s film soundtracks, titled “Hollywood, Mon Amour.” And of course, in the spirit of all that is Daft Punk and Justice, electro-friendly acts, such as Brodinski, The Shoes, and Jamaica (formerly known as Poney Poney) will also be on the bill.
The complete lineup and additional details will be unveiled in the coming days. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster and go on sale Saturday, August 1st at 10 am PST.
