One would think releasing a highly acclaimed and loved album earlier this year, landing a supporting gig for Depeche Mode’s first American tour in four years as well as headlining their own shows would be enough for one band. Well, not if you are Peter, Bjorn and John.
The trio has announced plans for a new EP set to hit stores on July 14th, a mere four days from now. The second single off of 2009’s Living Thing, “It Don’t Move Me” will be the basis for the EP, which will also include remixes by Miike Snow, Weird Tapes, and Teddybears’ Jacko.
In addition to all those remixes that are yet to be available for your listening pleasure, hopefully a Mark Hopus from Blink 182 remix will satiate your needs. Hopus remixed first single “Nothing to Worry About” and you can check out the results over at AbsolutePunk.net. If you think a veteran pop-punk artist reworking a PB&J track is out there, you should see what rapper Wale did with the instrumental.
With all this creativity in the air, I’m sure you, loyal reader, are chomping at the bit to get in on the action.
