School of Seven Bells get hitched with Vagrant, celebrate with first ever headlining tour

In the latest story of a Brooklyn band making good — because it’s not like we haven’t had enough of these already, School of Seven Bells are now proud members of Vagrant Records, the same label that currently sports the likes of The Hold Steady, Dasboard Confessional, Placebo and Eels. And to celebrate this new partnership, Vagrant will be re-releasing the group’s debut LP, Alpinisms, on July 14th.

But enough with the behind-the-scenes stuff. The most noteworthy item here is that the School of Seven Bells now need to support the re-release and will do so with their first ever North American headlining tour. The trek will begin in late September in the Big Apple and will see the band circle the country before ultimately returning back home for an appearance at this year’s CMJ Music Marathon on October 23rd.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, July 10th, but a limited number of tickets are still available for fans through an exclusive Ducat King pre-sale.
