In news too strange to make up, Taylor Swift recently divulged her desire to collaborate with none other than Jack White on the followup to her 2008 triple platinum album, Fearless. Why, you may ask? “’cause he’s awesome,” Swift said in a recent interview with MTV.com. “I love his writing and I think hes an amazing player too, so any kind of collaboration there would be really awesome. Like, totally!
The 19-year-old singer/songwriter is said to have already written several songs for the yet-to-be-titled effort, but currently has no plans to release anything this year. For now, Swift is focusing on her performance for the VMAs in September. The same cannot be said about Jack White.
