After making its list, and checking it twice, Lemonade has finally gifted us an official video for “Big Weekend”. The Brooklynites looked to conglomerate Weird Days for visual direction. While, there sure isn’t anything groundbreaking going on in regards to the video, it’s still a lot of fun. Plus, you can clearly hear some early LCD Soundsystem and Rapture influences in the groove.
If you’re intrigued, you can also check out a neat mp3 project they did for XLR8R. The boys were sent out to a grocery store with $40 and informed to make some samples, make a meal, and make it into a track in a single afternoon. The outcome was aptly titled “Fish Clap”. Be sure to check it here.
