Passion Pit’s first two videos, for the EP breakout hit “Sleepyhead” and Manners“The Reeling” are very trippy and artsy affairs. The videos are schizophrenic with a frantic pace and a dire sense of urgency.

However, in its latest video for “To Kingdom Come”, Passion Pit has chosen to take it down a notch. The song is a slower affair, giving the chance for the band to be introspective and reflective on life and its struggles and hardships.

For “To Kingdom Come” the Massachusetts rockers shows off who they are by playing throughout the video without any effects or distortion. The dark tones are not present either; the band instead opts for a more humorous tone as they play dress up and act out various roles in the scientific community. What’s more, the video comes complete with poorly attached fake mustaches, meteors setting trees aflame and new microscopic organisms. Watch and be witness to various discoveries and scientific breakthroughs!
