Still rockin’ like it’s the 80s, the Butthole Surfers have unveiled a new round of engagements that will take the reunited 1980s era lineup of Gibby Haynes, Paul Leary, Jeff Pinkus, King Coffey, and Teresa Taylor to a venue near you in the weeks ahead.
Highlighted by appearances at Pop Montreal and Chicago’s Riot Fest, dates with Built to Spill and Melvins, and a a pair of Halloween shows in Texas with Peaches, the newly announced tour runs from September 24th to October 31st. Tickets for the dates are available via Ticketmaster.com.
Of course, if you can’t get in on this run, you can always just pick up a bootleg of your pleasing. As LiveDaily notes, the band has created a “Buttlegs” section on its official website to distribute some of the better-sounding boots of various tours along with some studio tracks, all in the form of unprotected MP3 files.
