Dave Gahan needs rest; Depeche Mode cancels San Fran show

Depeche Mode‘s Dave Gahan just can’t catch a break. After a bout with a low-grade tumor earlier this spring, the frontman is now dealing with vocal problems and has been ordered by doctors to take a 48 hour rest. As a result, the band has been forced to cancel tonight’s show at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. The band’s next show — scheduled for Friday in San Diego — is still on (via Idolator).
