For those of you out there who are still in awe of the wave that is nu-metal, watch in wonder as we simultaneously disgust 80% of you and cause the other 20% to mosh in utter ecstasy: Limp Bizkit is recording another album. Ta-da!
Just before their set at Sonisphere, frontman Fred Durst and guitarist Wes Borland announced (via NME) their intentions to release a follow up to 2005’s The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1). The Jacksonville quintet will enter the studio in the next few weeks to start the process of sorting through tracks each member has penned individually. Of the songwriting process, Borland said:
“It takes all shapes and all forms. We’ve written songs during shows in the last tour. Sometimes it’s spontaneous, sometimes it’s like trying to take down a Tyrannosaurus Rex.”

South Korean fans can get a taste of the Bizkit when the band plays the ETPFest on August 15th. Those fans looking to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth, along with a tasty etiquette lesson and a “limp” rendition of a Neil Diamond classic, can take a peek at the two rap-metal lords below.
