Just when you thought we had seen the last of Radiohead induced chaos for a while, comes news that frontman Thom Yorke will be releasing a brand new single on September 7th. To be fair, the song, which is a cover of cover of Mark Mulcahy’s “All for the Best” taken from the from the forthcoming tribute album, Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs of Mark Mulcahy, has been floating around the web for a while. What’s more, the  7″ release will be limited to 2,000 copies. So, unless you’re lucky enough to score one of said 2,000 copies over at Recordstore.co.uk (pre-orders now ongoing), or are willing to pony up some cash on eBay down the road, you’re best chance to listen to Yorke’s melodic vocals will be either in the form of the stream below and/or complete with all the other non-Radiohead tribute songs on the aforementioned Ciao My Shining Star, which is scheduled for release on September 29th via Shout! Factory.
