Echo & the Bunnymen sketches out fall tour

Here’s further proof that the fall season still remains the best of the four. Following the release of The Fountain, the group’s first studio record in four years, Echo & the Bunnymen will pounce on the streets and clubs of North America come October and November.

Not surprisingly, they’ll only be hitting up the staple U.S. markets — Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, D.C., and New York — but if you take a close look, you’ll notice they have quite the intimate venues booked. And for fans in Toronto and the California area, you’re in for a real treat, as the band plans to perform their critically acclaimed 1984 effort, Ocean Rain, all in its entirety and with a backing orchestra, as well. Pretty sweet deal, huh?

It’s an exciting time for Bunnymen fans. While The Fountain won’t be released ’til October 12th, the first single makes its way to radio next week (September 28th, to be exact). Though, if you’ve been paying close attention, you’ve already heard it streaming on the band’s official site.

Tickets are currently on-sale.
