Live Nation possibly comes up with a good idea, announces Passport

See, kids. Live Nation isn’t all evil.

The company has announced plans for an all-inclusive new program called the “Live Nation Club Passport”. The promotion basically works like this (via Rolling Stone): For a one time fee of $49.99, concert goers will receive a pass, or “Passport,” that will enable them to “see every show at Live Nation clubs in their city for the rest of the year, subject to availability.”

Of course, there’s a catch. Note the word “availability” above. Say for example that the concert you’d like to attend using your newly acquired “Passport” is soldout. Well, then, to put it simply, you’re shit out of luck.

But for all shows under the Live Nation banner that aren’t sold out, you’re golden. After you pick up your “Passport,” log on to each Monday to see a list of available shows and reserve your ticket. There will be no other costs associated… not even service fees!
